It all started when…

Our story started with a dating app — and a little encouragement from the bride’s sister, who convinced her to swipe right. His humor caught her attention right away, and our connection grew as we bonded over our shared love of basketball. A few dates in, he invited her to play 1-on-1. Somewhere between playful competition and nonstop laughter, it became clear that this was more than just a good match — it was something special.

Although he postponed their original first date to attend a Dallas Mavericks game without her, they eventually made it to their first game together. They’ve shared countless adventures, always surrounded by the people they love most. A trip to her hometown, a visit to Waco for a Baylor basketball game, and traveling with his family to Disney World for his mom’s birthday are just a few of the experiences that have brought us closer together and reminded us how much we value time with family. They’ve also made unforgettable memories in Hawaii, celebrating the wedding of one of his friends with her sister and dear friend by their side. Between these big adventures, the quiet nights spent watching basketball and football games together — usually eating Chick‑fil‑A — are some of our favorite moments.
